Faith First Tax Professionals
I partner with Faith First Tax Professionals, a Black–owned tax firm based in Florida that provides the professional tax software, training, advising, and operational support I use. Faith First is client-focused and dedicated to providing services with integrity, accountability, and respect.
Because of this partnership, Faith First Tax Professionals’ name will appear on client billing and tax returns, as well as the intake form and SMS. All services are still provided directly by me, with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and respectful client service.
Who I Work With
Tax Support for a Wide Range of Situations
I work with individuals and small businesses across the U.S., including people with straightforward returns and those with more complex income sources.
Common situations I support include:
- Individuals filing personal tax returns
- Freelancers, contractors, and gig workers with 1099 income
- Sole proprietors and single-member LLCs filing Schedule C
- Clients with multiple income sources or side work
- College students and first-time filers
- Remote workers and digital professionals
(I do not currently prepare tax returns for incorporated businesses.)

All 50 States — Secure & Virtual
While I’m based in Boston, Massachusetts, I work with clients in all 50 states through secure, virtual tax preparation. Documents are shared safely online, consultations are remote, and returns are filed electronically whenever possible.
You don’t need to be local to get personalized, reliable tax support.
Client-Focused Support
I work with a wide range of clients and tax situations, and everyone is welcome. The groups highlighted here are not the only clients I serve—they reflect areas where I’m especially attentive to common questions, concerns, and details that may require extra care.
My approach is practical, respectful, and client-centered. I take the time to understand each person’s situation and tailor the process accordingly, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
🎓
College Students & New Adults
First-time filers and students often have questions about income documents, dependency status, and education-related details. I provide clear explanations and guidance to help new adults feel confident about filing.
🏳️🌈
LGBTQIA+ clients
I work with LGBTQIA+ clients across a range of tax situations and aim to provide service that is professional, respectful, and attentive to individual circumstances, including names, pronouns, and family structures.
🌍
Support for Non-Native English Speakers
While services are provided in English, I make an effort to communicate clearly and patiently, using plain language and careful explanations. I’m happy to work with translated documents provided by the client.
What Does It Cost?
The most asked question….

Tax professionals tend to be expensive and the end cost will depend on the complexity of your tax situation:
- What are your income sources?
- What forms do you require?
- What are your filing needs?
Because of this, I unfortunately cannot give a single price. Total cost can be as low as $160 or surpass $1500+. Most can expect a price range between $200 to $500.
Fees are determined by Faith First Tax Professionals. In general, you will incur a fee for each form required for your return. If you would like a better estimate of cost, you may request this with your complementary, 100% free estimate.
The Good News!
- Payment comes from your tax return. This ensures we have the greatest incentive to maximize what you get back and don’t cut into your current paycheck.
- We offer year round support. We are not just here for you to file your return, but to offer continued guidance and follow-ups.
- Educational services included. If you’re a first-time filer, especially, that is a huge plus worth even a “just this one time” investment. They don’t teach you to do taxes in school–and one reason I’m here is I hope to provide a service many of you have been denied.
- I am part of Faith First Tax Professional’s network. If I can’t help you, I can get someone who can. You are not simply hiring an individual, but a team of people with 10+ years of experience.

Why I Became a Tax Preparer
•
If you had asked me years ago whether I’d end up preparing taxes, I probably would have laughed. I’m what people call a multipotentialite — I like learning new things, diving deep into unfamiliar systems, and figuring out how they work. I’ve built accounting software. I’ve started businesses. This past…
